DETAILS: The following commentary is offered in advance of the November unemployment rate announcement due Friday from the U.S. Department of Labor:
"The improving labor market is showing signs of normal seasonal hiring at this point. We expect to see a sustained demand for employees in warehouses, distribution centers, and customer contact centers as consumer spending increases throughout the holiday retail season.
"Aside from seasonal hiring, we are entering a period of robust job creation. We expect to see a positive jobs report with upwards of 200,000 jobs having been created in November.
"Overall, the economy is continuing on a path of steady, moderate growth with the temporary employment sector accounting for a good portion of the jobs currently being created. The manufacturing sector is experiencing slight growth after months of inactivity. Credentialed professionals remain highly sought after.
"Heading into the New Year, we can expect to see continued acceleration in job creation and a steady progression of solid employment reports."
