TROY, Mich., Aug. 23 -- Kelly Scientific Resources, the world's largest dedicated scientific staffing company, has opened its first office in Singapore. The new location joins forces with more than 30 international branches in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Puerto Rico, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK.
The new Kelly Scientific branch will place clinical research and scientific professionals on temporary, project-based, and direct-hire assignments to a broad spectrum of industries and disciplines.
"We are very excited to launch operations in Singapore where the life sciences industry is rapidly expanding, and where a large number of our international customers are located," said Chris Jock, vice president and managing director, Kelly Scientific Resources. "Singapore is becoming increasingly renowned for very high standards in scientific and cutting-edge medical research, which allows us to quickly build a database of qualified candidates."
With the largest global footprint of any other scientific staffing provider, Kelly Scientific is poised to service the worldwide staffing needs of its multi-national customers.
"There's no other company or government body interviewing 20,000 scientists a year," said Jock. "This makes us a very focused scientific staffing provider, a consultant who can go into companies and advise where to best set up new operations or what the cost implications are for doing this business in a certain country."
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Kelly Scientific Resources has quickly become a global resource, with the ability to attract high-level talent and place qualified candidates anywhere in the world. Today, the scientific staffing division of Kelly Services operates through more than 100 locations in 16 countries and employs more than 400 clinical research professionals and 4,500 scientists.
