Kelly Educational Staffing Enters 44th State
Sylvan Learning Center first in Nevada to utilize substitute teacher program
TROY, Mich. (March 22, 2005) – Kelly Educational Staffing, a service line of global staffing provider Kelly Services, has been selected by The Sylvan Learning Center in Carson City, Nevada to provide substitute teaching professionals who will tutor students in math, reading and study habits.
The agreement with the Sylvan Learning Center in Nevada marks the 44th state where Kelly Educational Staffing has a partnership, in addition to the District of Columbia. Kelly currently provides substitute teachers and paraprofessionals to more than 2,800 schools in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Established in 1999, Kelly Educational Staffing employs 8,000 substitute teachers who meet all state and local certification requirements. Kelly substitute teachers and paraprofessionals are prepared for the classroom by completing an orientation/training session and utilizing comprehensive grade-appropriate handbooks developed by The Substitute Teaching Institute at Utah State University. These tools enable Kelly employees to ensure a quality learning experience for students.
