TROY, Mich. (December 22, 2004) - Kelly Educational Staffing, a service line of staffing provider Kelly Services, is recognizing employees in 23 states as Substitute Teachers of the Semester for the first semester of the 2004-2005 school year. These employees have demonstrated outstanding performance and service as substitute teachers.
All Kelly Educational Staffing substitute teachers receive regular performance feedback from permanent teachers and school administrators and each semester, Kelly Educational Staffing managers have the opportunity to nominate one substitute teacher as Substitute Teacher of the Semester. "The Kelly Educational Staffing Substitute Teacher of the Semester program allows us to demonstrate Kelly's respect and appreciation for the substitute teachers who have contributed to student achievement by maintaining a consistent learning environment when a permanent teacher has to be absent for personal or professional reasons," said Teresa Setting, vice president for Kelly Educational Staffing.
Established in 1999, Kelly Educational Staffing employs 8,000 substitute teachers who meet all state and local certification requirements for any K-12 teaching situation in a public or private school.
