KellyOCG Selected as Global Managed Service Provider for BP
TROY, Mich. (November 18, 2009) - - - KellyOCG, the Outsourcing and Consulting Group of Kelly Services, Inc., today announced it has been awarded a multi-year global outsourced managed service provider (MSP) contract with BP, one of the world's largest energy companies. Under terms of the contract, KellyOCG is responsible for managing temporary labor, including independent contractor service and select consulting categories, to support BP's agenda to reduce complexity. This is one of the largest programs in the industry in terms of size, scope and geographic reach. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Contingent Workforce Outsourcing (CWO) practice of KellyOCG will leverage its history of success in delivering expansive vendor-neutral MSP programs and its global footprint to help drive BP's labor and supplier management strategy worldwide. KellyOCG will engage Fieldglass, the world's largest VMS technology platform, to manage and automate the program. The contract takes effect first quarter 2010.
